Superba's stand (G1) in Hall W3 features 'technological poles' where it is demonstrating aspects of its know-how, like the TEP3 pneumatic tightening head of its TVP3, or MF400 friezing box for a new kind of texturised yarn for carpet. This new patented version of the well-known MF4 machine provides a new frieze effect of a very high evenness, with an adjustable undulation from a very light to very strong effect on a layer up to 72 ends, said Superba.
The company said its sales are growing and market share increasing, particularly in China.
One of the other axes of development and style renewal in the carpet field is dyeing by spots - space-dyeing. The space-dyeing technique proposed by Superba replaces the old methods of Knit-Deknit, bringing high productivity gains and cost savin
Superba specializes in this dyeing technique and proposes a machine capable of carrying out with eight colours a range of spot lengths from a few centimetres to tens of metres through use of patented ultra-fast linear piezo-electric actuators.
A new type of dyeing box capable of handling up to 72 simultaneous ends is shown at ITMA ASIA + CITME.
Other poles demonstrate new developments from Superba and samples of carpet in polyester, polyamide or polypropylene as well as artificial turf samples achieved with yarn produced on the GTS-Greentex texturing machine.
